Combined Radar Activation Infrared Safety Sensor|CANBO M-235

Radar-based Door Opener and Pedestrian Approach Motion Sensor, used for automatic door access control system. Dual-technology combining microwave and infrared sensors independently enables trigger activation and anti-pinch protection to ensure the safe operation of automatic doors.

Microwave sensing features a wide detection range and is primarily deployed for door activation. When a pedestrian approaches and enters the detection zone, the microwave sensor is triggered and sends signals to the door operator to open the door automatically. By contrast, infrared sensing delivers higher detection precision: as the automatic door closes, if an infrared beam is blocked by a person or object, the door halts its closing motion and reopens instantly to prevent pinching injuries.

This combined sensor is designed for automatic sliding doors with a maximum mounting height of 2.5 meters, widely installed in shopping malls, airports, retail stores, hotels, office buildings and other similar premises.

1. Automatic background learning and updating available with selectable learning cycles of 15 seconds or 30 minutes.
2. Adjustable width and depth for microwave detection range.
3. Adjustable width and depth for infrared detection range.
4. Microwave detection sensitivity is adjustable.
5. Relay signal output with selectable normally open / normally closed contacts; two independent output channels: one for door activation, the other for anti-pinch protection.

1. Drill holes at appropriate positions on the door header, and keep the distance between the bottom of door header and sensor probe within 100 mm.
2. Remove the outer cover of the sensor, route wires around the wire posts for convenient wiring.
3. Secure the main sensor body with screws.
4. Adjust detection range and sensitivity as required.
5. Close and tight the outer cover.
